Singer/songwriter Mason Forsey Mackinnon has joined forces with Kingston talent Jackson Baird and Zachary Sykes to present a new high energy rock act under the name "The Mason FM Band". The trio performs original songs along with classic covers from the 70s and 90s. The style is based in rock but often takes from other genres. They have performed on 11 occasions to date with many more on the way. Notable performances include playing at the 2023 St Lawrence College Convocation at the Slush Puppie place (Former Leon's & K Rock Centre) for over 2000 people; Playing a set for CFRC Live sessions on 101.9 FM.
